The Broadmeadow Library is an active, busy place found at the center of the Broadmeadow School. Students, teachers, and parents use the library before, during and after school. Inquisitive minds are working and learning.
The goal of the instructional program is to help students develop literature skills and information skills as they use print and electronic resources in conjunction with the classroom curriculum. These skills are specifically described for the primary school levels and the elementary program has a fixed weekly schedule. Common units of study are implemented at every grade level. There is a high level of collaboration between the library teacher and the classroom teachers.
